Version 1.2 of the NASA App is now available

NASA has updated the popular NASA iPhone App.  Version 1.2 is now available, for free, in the iTunes store.  The update includes improved searching, social networking integration, and the collection.  The collection brings over 125,000 new images to the official NASA iPhone App, making it easier than ever to view and share thousands of NASA images on the go.

The features in the 1.2 update include:

  • Facebook® Connect for easy sharing of images, videos, tweets and mission information
  • Integrated Twitter™ client for posting, retweeting, replying to, and direct messaging
  • collection – With over 125,000 new images to browse and search
  • “Center” button for the orbital tracking feature
  • Advanced search option
  • Offline caching system
