Apollo 11 41st Anniversary

Today marks the 41st anniversary of Apollo 11, when astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin became the first humans to set foot on another world. There are a few ways you can celebrate Apollo 11 today. Make sure to visit nasa.gov and check out the Apollo 11 page for an animated comic, videos, a lunar panorama, photos, and lots of information about the Apollo 11 mission. And, don’t forget to visit nasaimages.org today either; in honor of the 41st Anniversary of the landmark mission that put humans on the moon, we have just added 249 high resolution Apollo 11 images available for viewing and downloading!
